Broilers

Indications
SOLTRINIQ® SOLTRINIQ® is indicated for the treatment and prevention of the following bacterial
diseases in broilers caused by microorganisms sensitive to trimethoprim and
sulfamethoxazole:
• Colibacillosis caused by Escherichia coli
SOLTRINIQ® • Infections caused by Pasteurella multocida Treatment and
• Salmonellosis caused by Salmonella typhimurium and Salmonella pullorum
Antibiotic Oral Solution • Coryza caused by Avibacterium paragallinarum
For Veterinary Use Only Note: The presence of disease in the flock must be confirmed before treatment. prevention of the

Dosage and Administration
7.5 mg Trimethoprim and 37.5 mg Sulfamethoxazole per kg body weight per day
(Equivalent to 3.75 ml SOLTRINIQ® per 10 kg body weight per day) bacterial diseases
Or:
1.5 – 2.5 liters of SOLTRINIQ® per 1000 liters of drinking water
For 3 consecutive days

Notes
• This product does not require pre-dilution in a small amount of water
• To prevent precipitation, add the calculated dose directly to the main water tank
• Prepare fresh solution daily
• Medicated water must be consumed within 24 hours
• During treatment, poultry must not have access to any other water source
• Ensure continuous adequate water availability
• Preferably use low-hardness tap water with pH above 6
• Avoid mixing in galvanized containers
• Dosage and duration must be prescribed by a veterinarian

Contraindications
• Do not use in poultry with severe liver or kidney disease
• Do not use in poultry with impaired hematopoietic systems
• Do not use in layers producing eggs for human consumption
• Avoid simultaneous use with acidic products that reduce stability and solubility

Withdrawal Period
• Poultry meat: 5 days

Drug Interactions
• Do not combine with other veterinary medicinal products without veterinary advice
• Avoid simultaneous use with beta-lactams and amphenicols
• Has synergistic effect with colistin, neomycin, and erythromycin

Storage Conditions
Composition • Store at room temperature
• Protect from direct sunlight
Each liter of solution contains: • Keep the container tightly closed
• Shelf life:
• Sulfamethoxazole – 2 years when sealed under proper storage conditions
• Trimethoprim – 28 days after first opening

Precautions
• Use under the supervision of a veterinarian
• Keep out of reach of children
• Avoid direct contact with eyes, skin, and mucous membranes
• Decreased water consumption may be observed in broilers; use palatability
enhancers if necessary to maintain adequate water intake

• Avoid release into the environment
• Dispose of empty containers and waste safely in accordance with local regulations
