FOSFUNIQ® 25% Indications

FOSFUNIQ® 25% is used as a first-choice antibiotic for the prevention and treatment of the

following diseases in broilers, breeders, and turkeys:

• Colibacillosis
FOSFUNIQ® 25% • Omphalitis Treatment of

Salmonellosis
Broad-Spectrum Water-Soluble • Infectious Coryza

•
Pasteurellosis
Antibiotic Powder • Staphylococcal arthritis bacterial infections

• Staphylococcal and Streptococcal infections

Highly sensitive bacteria include:

Escherichia coli, Salmonella, Pasteurella, Citrobacter, Enterococcus, Staphylococcus,

Streptococcus, Proteus, Pseudomonas, Clostridium, Vibrio, Aeromonas, Mycobacterium,

Haemophilus, Klebsiella, Shigella, Enterobacteriaceae, Serratia, and Ornithobacterium.

Dosage and Administration

1) Therapeutic Dose

• 160 mg FOSFUNIQ® 25% / kg BW / day

• Administer in drinking water for 3–5 consecutive days

Daily Dose Calculation (g/day):

Average Body Weight (kg) × Number of Birds × 0.16

2) Preventive Dose

• 80 mg FOSFUNIQ® 25% / kg BW / day

• Administer in drinking water for 5–10 consecutive days

Daily Dose Calculation (g/day):

Average Body Weight (kg) × Number of Birds × 0.08

Method of Adding to Drinking Water

• First dissolve the required amount of FOSFUNIQ® 25% in a few liters of water (18–22°C).

• Add the prepared solution to the main drinking water tank in the morning.

• Ensure the medicated water is fully consumed within 6–8 hours.

• After consumption, provide fresh medicine-free water for the rest of the day.

Contraindications

• Do not use in laying birds producing eggs for human consumption.

Withdrawal Period

• Poultry meat: 7 days
