Indications
DOXINIQ® 50% gastrointestinal infections caused by microorganisms sensitive to doxycycline, including:

Dosage and Administration
General Dose: gastrointestinal
40–50 mg Doxiniq® 50% per kg body weight, for 3–5 consecutive days:
• Broilers, Breeders, Layer Pullets:
200–400 g Doxiniq® 50% per 1000 liters of drinking water for 3–5 days infections
• Turkeys:
250–500 g Doxiniq® 50% per 1000 liters of drinking water for 3–5 days

Notes
• First dissolve the prescribed dose in 20 liters of drinking water, then add to the main
water tank.
• Prepare a fresh solution daily.
• Medicated water must be used within 24 hours.
• During the treatment period, animals must not have access to any other water source
than medicated water.
• Ensure that animals always have adequate access to water.
• Dosage and duration should be prescribed by a veterinarian.

Contraindications
• Do not use in layers producing eggs for human consumption.
• Do not administer to birds with renal or hepatic dysfunction.

Withdrawal Period
• Broiler meat: 4 days
• Turkey meat: 12 days

Drug Interactions
• Do not use concurrently with bactericidal antibiotics such as penicillins, cephalosporins,
and aminoglycosides.
• Doxycycline forms chelates with Al, Ca, Mg, Zn, Mn, and Fe, which may reduce

• Under veterinary supervision, doxycycline may be used concomitantly with tylosin,

Precautions
• Use only under the supervision of a veterinarian
• Keep out of reach of children
• Avoid direct contact with eyes, skin, and mouth
• Wear protective equipment (glasses, mask, and gloves) during handling
• In case of contact, wash the affected area with plenty of water
