Indication
THIAMPHENICURE 10% THIAMPHENICURE® 10% is a broad-spectrum antibiotic indicated for the
treatment and control of bacterial infections caused by Thiamphenicol-sensitive
organisms in poultry, including:
• Chronic Respiratory Disease (CRD)

Thiamphenicol – Oral Solution • Colibacillosis (E. coli)
Salmonellosis

Dosage and Administration
Recommended Dose: bacterial
40 – 50 mg Thiamphenicol per kg body weight daily
For 3 – 5 consecutive days.
Severe cases: infections
Treatment may be extended up to 5 – 7 days under veterinary supervision.
Administer via drinking water only.
Prepare fresh medicated water daily.

Contraindication
• Hypersensitivity to thiamphenicol
• Severe liver dysfunction
• Do not use in laying birds producing eggs for human consumption

Withdrawal Period
• Meat: 4-6 days
• Eggs: Not for human consumption during treatment and withdrawal period

Drug Interaction
• Avoid the simultaneous use of thiamphenicol with Penicillins,
Cephalosporines and Aminoglycosides.
