Indications
NORAXIN® 20% NORAXIN® 20% is indicated for the treatment of infections caused by
norfloxacin-sensitive microorganisms, including:
• Respiratory infections and Chronic Respiratory Disease (CRD)
NORAXIN® 20% • Gastrointestinal infections and necrotic enteritis Treatment of
• Genitourinary tract infections
Norfloxacin Oral Antibiotic Solution • Mycoplasma infections
For Veterinary Use Only • Septicemia, peritonitis, and arthritis infections
• Secondary bacterial infections associated with viral diseases
• Other infections caused by Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria such
as:
Salmonella, Pasteurella (Fowl Cholera), Staphylococcus, Streptococcus,
Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Campylobacter, Haemophilus, and E. coli

Dosage and Administration
1 liter of NORAXIN® 20% per 1500–4000 liters of drinking water
(Average: 1 liter per 2000 liters)
Administer throughout the day for 3–5 consecutive days.

Notes
• Dosage and duration should be prescribed by a veterinarian
• Medicated water must be used within 24 hours during the therapy period

Contraindications
• Do not use in layers producing eggs for human consumption
________________________________________
Withdrawal Period
• Chicken meat: 4 days

Drug Interactions
Avoid simultaneous use with:
• Tetracyclines
• Macrolides
• Lincosamides
• Chloramphenicol

Storage Conditions
• Store at room temperature
• Protect from direct sunlight
Composition • Keep the container tightly closed

• Keep out of reach of children
• Do not use after the expiry date
• Shelf life:
– 2 years when sealed under proper storage conditions
– 28 days after first opening
