FLORNIQ® 10% Indications

FLORNIQ® 10% is indicated for the prevention and treatment of

gastrointestinal and respiratory infections caused by

FLORNIQ® 10% florfenicol-susceptible microorganisms in poultry, including: Treatment of
• Actinobacillus spp.

Florfenicol Oral Solution • Pasteurella spp.

For Veterinary Use Only • Salmonella spp. gastrointestinal

• Streptococcus spp.

Dosage and Administration and respiratory

1 liter of FLORNIQ® 10% per 1000 liters of drinking water daily

(Equivalent to 20 mg Florfenicol per kg body weight)

For 3–5 consecutive days infections

Notes

• This product does not require pre-dilution

• To prevent precipitation, add the calculated dose directly to the

main drinking water tank

• Medicated water must be used within 24 hours

• Dosage and duration should be prescribed by a veterinarian

Contraindications

• Do not use in layers producing eggs for human consumption

Withdrawal Period

• Chicken meat: 5 days

________________________________________

Drug Interactions

Avoid simultaneous use with:

• Penicillins

• Macrolides

• Aminoglycosides

Storage Conditions

Composition • Store at room temperature

• Protect from direct sunlight

Each liter of solution contains: • Keep the container tightly closed

Precautions

• Use under the supervision of a veterinarian

• Keep out of reach of children

• Shelf life:

– 2 years when sealed under proper storage conditions

– 28 days after first opening
