Indications
Paracetamol has a central analgesic effect that is mediated through activation of descending serotonergic pathways. Debate exists about its primary site of action, which may be inhibition of prostaglandin (PG) synthesis or through an active metabolite influencing cannabinoid receptors.
Paraniq® has analgesic, antipyretic and moderate anti-inflammatory properties. It inhibits heat regulating center excitability and synthesis of prostaglandins (inflammatory mediators). After oral administration the drug rapidly absorbs and penetrates in most of organs and tissues obtaining peak concentration in 30-40 minutes. Paracetamol is metabolized in liver. It is excreted with urine. Elimination half-life is 2-4 hours.
Paraniq® Use as an antipyretic drug against infectious and inflammatory diseases associated with hyperthermia, as well as against various pain syndromes in calves, lambs and broiler chickens.
