Indications
The first choice for treatment of Broilers, breeders and turkey in following diseases: Colibacillosis, Omphalitis, Salmonellosis, Infectious Coryza, Pasteurellosis, Listeriosis and Staphylococcal arthritis. The bacteria that are most sensitive to Fosfuniq® 25% are: Escherichia coli, Salmonella, Pasteurella, Citrobacter, Enterococcus, Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, Proteus, Pseudomonas, Clostridium, Vibrio, Aeromonas, Mycobacterium, Haemophilus, Klebsiella, Shigella, Enterobacteriaceae, Serratia and Ornithobacterium.
Dosage and Administration
Therapeutic dose: 160 mg per kg B.W per day Fosfuniq® 25% in drinking water for 3 – 5 days continuously.
Route of dose calculation
Therapeutic dose: Average body weight in the last day of therapy (Kg) × number of birds × 0.16 = amount of Fosfuniq® 25% in a day (g).
The route of adding medicine to drinking water
First, dissolve the required amount of Fosfuniq® 25% in a few liters of warm water (25 – 35°C). Determine the amount of consumed water in the first 6 – 8 hours of consumption and add the calculated amount of Fosfuinq® 25% to that amount of water. After consuming water containing medicine, add fresh water without medicine to the drinking water system.
Contraindications
No antagonism effect between this medicine and other water-soluble medicines or common poultry feed additives has been reported so far.
fine synergistic effects have been observed between Fosfomycin and Erythromycin, Tylosine, Ampicillin and Trimethoprim.
Withdrawal period
Poultry meat: 7 days
Don’t used in egg laying poultry.
