Indications
Aqua-Virkoniq® delivers 99.9999% kill of numerous pathogens including 31 bacterial strains, 58 viruses, and 6 fungi with no evidence of resistance, eliminating the need to rotate disinfectants to avoid resistance buildup.
Dosage and Administration
Aqua-Virkoniq®is effective against numerous microorganisms: viruses, gram positive and gram negative bacteria, fungi (molds and yeasts) and mycoplasma.
A 1% Aqua-Virkoniq® solution is recommended for cleaning and disinfection of surfaces associated
with aquaculture including: Tanks, vehicles, boats, nets, boots, waders, dive suits, & other equipment.
Mix the Aqua-Virkoniq® powder with clean water according to the dilution instructions in the following
table.
For heavily soiled surfaces, it is recommended to clean with an appropriate detergent prior to
disinfection.
Add the desired amount of Aqua-Virkoniq® to 10 liters of pond water. Stir until the powder
has dissolved and gradually add the solution to the pond water. A dispensing system can easily be made
from a plastic bucket where at the bottom a hole is punctured. The solution is slowly released to the water.
Make sure that the pumps are operating, so that distribution is optimal. Aqua-Virkoniq® contains a small amount of lipophilic surfactant, especially active against viruses of external enclosures. This substance can accumulate on the water surface and produce foam over time, especially if the required water changes are not enforced.
Aqua-Virkoniq® DILUTION CHART
To achieve the appropriate use-diluted Aqua-Virkoniq® concentration, fill container with the volume of water and quantity of powder found in the following table.
Solutions are stable for 7 days. Do not soak metal objects in Aqua-Virkoniq® for long periods – 10 minutes is maximum necessary contact time. One gallon of solution is sufficient to treat 135 sq.ft.

Equipment used in separate sites, tanks, ponds in aquacultural settings should be disinfected
before each new use by soaking for 20-30 minutes in a 1% Aqua-Virkoniq® solution followed by a water rinse.
