Indications

Enroniq® 10% is used for treatment of Gastrointestinal infections, Respiratory infections and urinary tract infections such as:
• Mycoplasmosis (M. gallisepticum inf., M. synoviae inf., M. iowae inf., M. meleagridis inf.)
• CRD Complex (M. gallisepticum inf. accompanied with E. coli)
• Colibasillosis (Coligranuloma, Peritonitis, Synovitis, Omphalitis, Air Sacculitis)
• Salmonellosis and Paratyphoid infections
• Infectious coryza
• Pasteurellosis (Fowl Cholera), Pseudotuberculosis, P. anatipestifer Infections
• Staphylococcosis (Synovitis, Septicemia, Omphalitis, Bacterial Endocarditis, Wound Infections and Clamidiosis)
• Clostridial infections (Gangrenous Dermatitis, Necrotic Enteritis, Ulcerative Enteritis)
• Erysipelas infections and Bordetellosis of turkeys
• Mixed bacterial infections
• Secondary infections due to viral diseases

Dosage and Administration

• 0.5 ml of Enroniq® 10% per liter of drinking water (equivalent to 10 mg of Enrofloxacin per kg of body weight) daily for 3-5 days.
• In Salmonellosis, Pasteurellosis and case of Chronic infections or Mixed infections duration of treatment is 5 to 10 days.
• Calculate the daily quantity (ml) of Enroniq® 10% oral solution required for treatment period as follows:
Total number of birds × Average body weight in kg × 0.1 = Total volume (ml) of Enroniq® 10% per day

Contraindication

• Avoid administration to poultry with a seriously impaired hepatic and/or renal function.
• Avoid administration to poultry producing eggs for human consumption.

Withdrawal Period

• Chicken meat: 9 days
• Turkey meat: 11 days

Drug interaction

An antagonism was shown, when combining fluoroquinolones with bacteriostatic antimicrobial agents such as Macrolides, Tetracyclines, Phenicols and Lincosamides. The simultaneous application of substances containing Aluminum, Iron, Calcium and magnesium can impair the absorption of Enroniq® 10%.

Shelf Life

• Shelf-life from date of manufacture: 3 years.
• Shelf-life after first opening of container: 3 months.
• Shelf-life after reconstitution in drinking water: 24 hours.

Storage

• Keep it in room temperature (between 15-25 °C) and away from direct sunlight.
• Keep the lid of container closed.

Precautions

• Keep out of reach of children.

Environmental Considerations

• Avoid release to the environment.
• Dispose in a safe manner in accordance with local regulations.
