Composition
Each liter of solution contains:
Doxycycline Hyclate 116 g
(Equivalent to 100 g Doxycycline Base)
Target Animal
Broiler, Breeder and Layer pullet
Indications
To prevent, control and treat diseases caused by microorganisms sensitive to doxycycline including:
• Chronic Respiratory Disease (CRD) caused by Mycoplasma
• Joint Infections
• Pasteurellosis (fowl cholera) caused by Pasteurella multicida
• Colibacillosis
• Infectious Coryza caused by Haemophilus
• Salmonellosis
• Necrotic Enteritis caused by Clostridia
• Air Sac Infection
• Staphylococcus and Streptococcus infections
• Chlamydia infections
• Respiratory infections caused by Ornithobacterium rhinotracheale
Dosage and Administration
In Broiler, Breeder and Layer pullet:
• 0.5-1 ml of Doxiniq®10% per liter of drinking water (equivalent to 10 – 20 mg Doxycycline Base Per each Kg B.W. per day) for 3 to 5 consecutive days.
• Note: Duration and dosage based on the severity of the disease should be prescribed by a clinician.
Contraindications
• Do not administer to laying birds four weeks before the start of lay and during lay.
• Do not use in animals with hepatic dysfunction.
Withdrawal Period
Poultry meat: 7 days
Drug interactions
Avoid simultaneous use of Doxiniq®10% with Florfenicol, Beta-lactams, Cephalosporins, Aminoglycosides and Cations with 2 and 3 capacities such as Aluminum, Calcium, Magnesium, Zinc and Iron.
Storage
• Keep it in room temperature (between 15-25 °C) and away from direct sunlight.
• Keep the lid of container closed.
Precautions
• Use under Super-vision of a veterinarian.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• The shelf life of the medicine after mixing with water is 24 hours.
